Chattero is a third-party Twitch chat client for iPhone and iPad, made by Marian Leontiev. It is not affiliated with Twitch.
Something is broken
Email leontievmarian@gmail.com, or in the app open Settings › About › Report a bug — it prefills your app version and device so you only have to describe what happened. Include the channel name and the approximate time if the problem is about specific messages.
Chattero does not collect crash reports or analytics on its own. If you turned on iOS crash sharing, Apple forwards crash logs to the developer; otherwise the bug report email is the only way we hear from you.
Sign-in and account
- Signing in is optional. You can read any channel without an account.
- Sign in from Settings › Accounts. Chattero uses Twitch's own login page; your password is never typed into the app.
- To remove your account, use Settings › Accounts › Delete Account. It revokes the token at Twitch and erases the account's local data (whispers, notes, logs).
- To revoke access from the Twitch side, go to Twitch › Settings › Connections and disconnect Chattero.
Reporting a user
Chattero is a client; moderation happens on Twitch. Open a user's card (tap their name) and choose Report on Twitch to file a report on Twitch's report page. Blocking and filtering are available from the same card and from Settings › Ignores.
Data and privacy
See the Privacy Policy. In short: no analytics, no server of our own, your token stays in the iOS Keychain on your device.
Open source
Chattero is a port of Chatterino2 (MIT). Third-party licenses are listed in Settings › About › Open Source Licenses.
